but in ARABIC.. what shall i say.. "al sayida" or "aaanisa"?

how about INVENTING a new title in arabic.. and we call it :

al-sayyina.. " السينة " ?

maybe.. al-Zayyina so they think it is a compliment ;)

how come arabic is always rigid.. let's renew it! :)

** some MP stood and said this! (wala el 3atheeem he said it!) he said: "some people established a company with a capital of two hundred and fifty thousand dinar! how could they be biding on a project that costs a quarter million dinar!" he doesn't know that 250,000 is the same as quarter million!!
i don't know how come such a person is an MP!!

Dubai Puts a New Spin on Skyscrapers

Planned 68-Story Rotating Tower Part of Massive Construction Spree

In skyscraper-crazy Dubai, tall isn't enough. In a design to be unveiled today in the oil-rich emirate, David Fisher, an Italian-Israeli architect, has dreamed up a 68-story combination hotel, apartment and office tower where the floors would rotate 360 degrees. Each floor would rotate independently, creating a constantly changing architectural form.
Each story of the tower would be shaped like a doughnut and be attached to a center core housing elevators, emergency stairs and other utilities. Wind turbines placed in gaps between the doughnuts would generate electricity.
The doughnuts won't rotate fast enough to give guests upset stomachs. A single rotation would take around 90 minutes. "It's quite slow," says Mr. Fisher.

reading some posts made me think of the saying:

sometimes i read what is written in some blogs.. and i mean 'written' (not pics or videos), and whether it is true stories or out the imagination of the writer, which in this case i truly believe that it would not be written in the way presnted if it is not related to the writer or not out of the writer's imagination and wishes and even the writer's deprived desires!

كيف نهيئ اقتصادا تنافسيا بتعليم رديء وأداء مترد؟

أكد مكتب 'الشال' للاستشارات الاقتصادية ان المشروعات الشعبوية هي الاكثر اضرارا بالفئات الاقل دخلا في البلاد، ضاربا المثل بأحدث هذه المشاريع وهو المتعلق بصرف مكافأة للطلبة الكويتيين بدل استثمار المبلغ في تحسين مستوى التعليم، والامر نفسه ينطبق على مسألة مكافأة موظفي الحكومة رغم تردي مستوى الخدمات، اذ كيف يمكن ان نهيئ الاقتصاد الكويتي للكفاءة والتنافسية بتعليم رديء وزيادة المردود طردا مع تردي الاداء.
نود التأكيد، للمرة العاشرة، ربما، أننا (من حيث المبدأ) لسنا ضد أن يستفيد الناس، وتحديدا الفئات الأقل حظا في دخولهم، ولكننا نؤكد، أيضا، أن المشروعات الشعبوية هي الأكثر إضرارا بهذه الفئة، على المديين المتوسط والطويل. فمجلس الأمة، ينتقد محقا مستوى مخرجات التعليم، ومستوى التعليم (صناعة البشر) في انحدار، ورغم ذلك يقرر المجلس بالإجماع تقريبا، صرف مكافأة شهرية، قيمتها 100 دينار، ل 49 ألف طالب، وبكلفة إجمالية تقارب 59 مليون دينار سنويا،
